Disney on the Runway

Check these pics out.  Apparently people are getting inspired by Disney all over again (in the style sense.)  Personally, these two are my favorites.

I felt really easy breezy in this outfit...I kind of felt like a Grecian goddess for some reason.  Maybe because I was wearing my gladiators?...

I love the patterns and frills going on. It's all really girly and fun.  My bestie Kim would beg to differ-  she HATES florals and ruffles.  I love 'em.

Pearls/Shirt-Unknown, Blazer-Van Heusen, Jeans- Old Navy

This is actually yesterday's outfit.  I was wearing some Aldo heels with it, but they so did not fit.  They were like a size 9.  Also, the blazer is my little brother's. :)

P.S.  I just realized something—Selena Gomez wore an outfit A LOT like this when she was in Vancouver... I'll show you later.  It seems I've began to take a lot of my style cues from her.

I was inspired by Selena Gomez's Teen Vogue cover look.  I thought the docs-with-florals idea was supercute, so I tried it with my own stuff.

Today was a good day, for the most part.  I left home in this outfit and was terrified of what people might say about it, but I guess I pulled it off.  I was inspired by Selena Gomez's Teen Vogue cover look.  I thought the docs-with-florals idea was supercute, so I tried it with my own stuff. In the pics, I wasn't wearing my gray knit beret(can't live without) because my bestie... Kim-let's call her that-had taken it and I forgot to give it back.  (I have it now.)

We had a dance party today.  It was so fun.  My other bestie Lala(cyberspace name) is a great dancer so she was teaching the "popular" girls how to dance.  We were jerkin, we were stanky-leggin... it was fun.  We plan to do it Wednesday.  Lala and Shakira (not HER real name, other bestie) said I'd make a good ballroom dancer.  Ha,ha.  They said that I'd be a pretty good dancer if I had rhythm and was less stiff.  Guess what?  Not the first time I've heard that.

OH OH OH!!! I got a bag of candy from this 11th grader I know... she's the jointski.  In the bag of candy was included Juicy Fruit gum, peppermint patties, Sugar-Free Reeses cups, hard Life-Savers and two Snickers bars.  It's half gone already. :)

Style Icon Of The Week-M.I.A.

I decided to channel her style into this set.  I NEED that shirt.  I'm going to wait until it goes on sale though.  Here are some other sets I think need attention, featuring my M.I.A.

I don't know if you know it, but I am seriously obsessed with M.I.A.  She's amazing.  She's an artist, fashion designer, scriptwriter, and recording artist with her own record label.  Wowww.  Then I found out she has a clothing line.  AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! OMGEEZERS!!! I checked it out-wayy out of my price range, but till desirable.  Must haves.  I like the tribal feel.  Click here to visit the collection.

Car Show=No Camaros :(

Today after a 2-3 hour church service where I volunteered, I went to a car show with my sister, grandpa and two cousins.  I wanted to stay at church a little longer because I boy I like was there.  (Shhh... don't tell.  It's a secret.)  I went along to the car show and my cousin who's 15 kept asking people about the cars.  I was surprised because he doesn't even have his permit yet but then I realized it was the racing games that gave him his Yoda-like knowledge.  We hung out there for like an hour.  I was disappointed.  There were no yellow Camaros with two black racing stripes.  :(  It was a foreign car show, and Camaros are American-made.
While I was there,  I was wearing a black DC Shoes tee, Delia's straight legs(my cousin-this is a girl- said they made me look like a grandma.  Thanks.), and my volleyball shoes.  I just came from church, wehre I'm a volunteer... with the 6-8 year olds.  You catch my drift.
When I got home, I changed into this.  My family hates the outfit-even my mom-but I love it.  No idea why.  It kinda reminds me of this outfit I saw on Hand It Over.

Check your closets!

I just went through my closet, looking for stuff that I don't usually wear to see if I can wear it.  Then I went into the far reaches of my closet and found this little blue denim dress I got when I was like, six.  It's a size 8.  I now wear a size 16, Juniors XS.  Still, I tried it on, and I must say, it looked pretty good. :) P.S.  It reminds m of that outfit Sharpay wore in HSM3 during her first practice as Gabriella.

I was re-inspired to fashion blog, so here I am again.  I think I might rename it, just because.  Anyway.  Today's outfit.   My little brother had a football game so no skirts. :(  I just wore this simple little outfit so I wouldn't sweat to death like I did last week.  :)  Unfortunately, today the temp was 75 degrees with wind, so I was uber-cold.  We got there pretty late though, so I only watched 7 minutes of it.  Oh, and they won, 12 to 13.
